Stacia Palmer has always wanted to be a NFL quarterback's wife.

But just as her boyfriend gets drafted, she has a change of heart and returns to Vegas empty handed. Unfortunately, her friends have all moved out of their shared apartment.

Which is how she finds herself roommates with her irresistible ex—Pace Larson.

He’s the new starting quarterback and determined to make her life miserable. But their chemistry has always been off the charts and living in close quarters sparks something anew.

She doesn’t know if they deserve a second chance. But she wants it—even if it leads to another broken heart.

Stacia thought she was destined to end up an NFL wife. Imagine her shock when she’s finally close enough to her dream only to realize it’s not exactly what she wanted. Pace has always been the jerk, it’s nice to see him in a different way. Pace and Stacia have history but Pace hasn't given up on them yet. I didn’t know if I would really like Stacia and Pace’s story, but you can really see the change in the characters as the book and story evolves which I really enjoyed. I loved how Stacia really took control of her life and what her honestly wanted. K.A. Linde really did a great job with this one!! Such an awesome ending to a fantastic series!!

This book is just...whoa. If you're a fan of angst and slow burn type books you will devour this book. And if you didn't know it before you'll definitely know after reading this one why everyone calls KA Linda the Queen of Angst. Like a classic KA Linde book, it had so many emotions and feelings jumping off the pages. Every page I turned I didn't know what was going to happen next. Each moment more surprising than the next. I thought for sure that Silver couldn't top Platinum but boy did it ever. Pace and Stacia are such real characters. Everyone's had a moment in life like Stacia, they played a part to fit in. And just the same everyone has had a Pace, the boy you know you should stay away from by can't. There's so much I want to say but I can't find the words to truly decribe the love I have for this series.
