Description

So I was pretty sure my dead ex-boyfriend’s brother hated me…until he asked me to marry him. And pretend his brother’s baby—which I’m carrying, BTW—is really his.

So now I’m suddenly the wife of a quirky tech billionaire, and falling in like with him so fast, it’s beginning to feel an awful lot like love. But we both have issues, and there are shadows creeping around the edges of our fledgling relationship. Can two people as different as we are make a pretend relationship real?

Find out if the Freak and the Geek can find their way to a happy ending in this unique standalone interracial romance. Perfect for readers who like their heroines off-beat and their alphas super geeky.

I thought I was reading a soap opera. This was such an easy, honest book. The main characters, are amazing. Taylor has done it again. #blackgirlmagic Happy reading and wine drinking
  • If you like plans…

That word “plan” and all of its cousins make an appearance 95 times in this book. lol sometimes 2-3 times in a sentence. I honestly only read this book because someone mentioned in a review that “plan” is used in every other sentence and I figured I would do the leg work and confirm whether that was true. The story is meh, but I guess ok. If anything prove me wrong on how many times you can find the word “plan” 😂

The story could be better if the word “plan” wasn’t used in almost every sentence. SMH. I had to stop reading it. It has potential to be a good story I was enjoying it. The author says it’s not in the plan or you don’t have a plan in every sentence it almost sounds like a kid writing it. It has a good start and storyline but I can’t continue with it because of how childish it sounds. Sorry wish I could.
