Description

When Persephone was born, Zeus received a troubling prophecy. Some day his beautiful innocent daughter would be taken captive by Hades, the dark god of the underworld. Determined to protect her, her father hid her away in the human world where she would be shielded from her fate.

Hades learned of this betrayal nine centuries ago. He’s been searching for his destined queen ever since. And when he finds her, no power on earth or below it will stop him. He will take her. He will corrupt her. And Zeus will suffer for daring to keep her from him.

I love this take on the classic myth! What a fun, spicy read! I finished it in under 24 hours! My only complaint is I wish it were longer!

I love Greek mythology and this story of Persephone and Hades is so much better than the actual Greek myth....if l were her l wouldn’t want to leave for six months either but knowing I would be with the god l loved for six months was just as awesome...after all being with a god like him...she would need six months to regain her strength....loved the story as you can tell

This is my absolute favorite version of Hades and Persephone’s tale to date. It’s a panty melter and wild but majorly satisfying ride. I inhaled this book in a little over an hour, I was completely engrossed and quite honestly distraught it was over. Thank goodness we can read them over and over. This actually was the first book I had found and purchased by Kitty Thomas and when I read the last line, I immediately logged on Amazon and added the rest to my wishlist and purchased The Last Girl. I’m a Hardcover girl but must admit I require all of Kitty’s books digitally as well so they are always with me!

Holy Hades this Audio melted my panties right off me while simultaneously making me swoon. The undeniable connection not just sexually but emotionally and mentally between these two GODS is undeniable. It’s been over two years since I read the book and I was quite excited to hear the audio and see if it had the same effect on me. The male narrator did a good job. Switching between female and male characters I find it’s more difficult for men to pull off. Gregory Salinas did a fine job of weaving between characters without pulling me out of the story. The ebb and flow, pronunciation and timbre of his voice transported me and brought Hades to life. In this interpretation of Greek mythology, Kitty Thomas certainly delivers a story weaved with carnal desires. Hades is the Master of the Underworld and his seduction of Persephone (Goddess of Spring) is without bounds, as all pleasures of the body are indulged. As a super fan of Kitty’s I don’t believe there’s anything she could write that could be wrong. Now being able to listen to her art, takes her writing to the next level. I cannot wait to hear and live vicariously through her next Audio.

I have never done a review before, but I wanted to save some poor unexpecting soul like me. I didn’t read the reviews I just saw it had five stars and was impressed. I thought this was just gonna be a cool mythology story for cheap, but holy crap I was so wrong. I was fine the first few pages, but bam out of nowhere it turns into xxx. THERE WAS NO WARNING.I am forever scared by only reading a few pages. Do not waste your money, buy a candy bar instead. Those are good, this book was not unless your into xxx. I am not, I just wanted to read mythology. If I could give negative reviews I would. Don’t scar yourself. To the author, NOT COOL DUDE NOT COOL. I wasn’t warned, it sounded normal., I feel betrayed.. -_-

I'm starting this off by saying Holy Wow! I love Greek mythology. It has always been one of my favorite things to read. And the story of Hades & Persephone is one we taught in 7th grade (before curriculums changed). But this version was beyond delicious, and definitely not something I would read in school lol ;). It is hot and sexy and I've totally fallen in love with Hades. I'd let him punish me any day. And Persephone, well I'm not gonna give anything away. I'm just gonna say I LOVED this book. This is a must have situation. Get it now
