Love this novella, Astrid is married to one of the worlds biggest jerks, and lucky for her she misses her flight and arrives just back home just in time to witness his untimely demise. This psychological, nail biter kept me on the edge of my seat, I didn’t want it to end. It’s so good it has the potential to be a regular novel and I’m keeping my fingers crossed Kitty revisits it in the future. However I am more than thankful for what we have, it’s a must read and wow what an ending!

Another great story by Kitty Thomas! This is a quick, short read, kinky and sexy as all Kitty’s books. It’s Astrid and Angel’s story. He is a hit man, kinky and dangerous and he capture Astrid. I really can’t tell you much as I don’t want to give anything away. If you familiar with Kitty’s work you will love this short story. If you never read her books before this is a good little book to start, just be aware her stories are not your regular romance books. They are twisted and different and I absolutely love her work.

A Kitty novella is always going to leave me wanting more. Wait. All Kitty books leave me wanting more. I don’t think it is possible to get enough. This novella was no different. My heart went out to Astrid as I read her story. But Kitty did a great job of letting me feel she was safe. Angel, his name fits him well. I love their story and don’t want to give anything away so you will have to read it for yourself. I can say the connection between the characters was amazing!!! Thanks Kitty for another fantastic read!!!

Angel is a hitman with a code of honor, making him a perfectly flawed combination of bad and good. His possessiveness and masculine, self-controlled poise is enough to make me swoon; traits the beautifully damaged (and much relatable) Astrid is not immune to as she struggles with giving in to their erotic desires. ~“It was sometimes hard to tell the difference in a man who was dangerous in all the right ways versus a man who was dangerous to her.”~ Yet even with all its elegant eroticism, one standout trait I adore in a Kitty Thomas book (among many) is no matter how dark the story, there’s always a bit of wit; sometimes refined and dry, sometimes playful, always patented to the characters. ~“I'm Angel.” “Not a very fitting name for a killer.” This was really the kind of thought that should just remain in one's head. “It is when the last part is (of death),” he replied without missing a beat. ~ This is a shorter read with well rounded characters I adored. You know the author did it right when you’re anxious and eager for the killer to find his happiness. :P LOVED Trust Game and HIGHLY recommend 💯

This was a fascinating story about what could happen to your life in an instant. I was completely absorbed in their story, in the struggle inside herself, Astrid, and the two sides that made up Angel. This was definitely an intriguing story you should most definitely read!

Have you ever wanted what you knew you should not want? Have you ever wanted something that you could not deny yourself? “So what difference does it make if you enjoy the fall?” I can tell you after reading this what I want.....I want more! An Angel who makes no apologies for being exactly who he is and taking exactly what he wants. I wish it was me he wanted! I was going to give this four stars because I wanted this story to be longer than it was. Then I thought so because the story is written so well I loved it I am going to down grade a five star review to a four? That sounds crazy! Five stars it is.
