    I had a hard time putting this book down. The action was non stop and breath taking. The characters were complex, flawed and fascinating. I have read several books by K.J.Jackson and have never been disappointed. Loved it.

    I was really surprised how I couldn’t put this book down! I loved the characters, the setting, and the plot. The sex scenes were enjoyable and unexpected. Over all good read - if you like period pieces.

    I had this book on preorder, I couldn’t wait! So excited to read the first in a new series,I have read all the others. The story line is very well developed and the characters are so engaging. I enjoyed the story very much. Looking forward to the next installment.

    Kk Jackson has done it again. Another great novel. Kj’s gift is her incredible writing style . When you read this book you are so drawn in by her detailed description that you enter this world. This is the journey of a women who is discovering exactly how much strength she has , physically and emotionally. You feel this woman’s pains. You cheer her victories. She is more than just a survivor . she has the power to change a mans life . Together they will grow to their potential and be the best for each other. Totally romantic
