Description

Summer had returned. The nightlife lit up the coastal town of Sea Breeze, Alabama with scantily clad sun-kissed bodies, live music, the smell of fresh cooked seafood.
Taking it all in, he wondered if coming back had been the best thing. He wasn’t the same man who had driven out of town a year ago on the motorcycle he’d bought after his best friend’s wedding. From the messy blonde curls he’d let grow out, to the tattoos now covering his arms, part of his chest and even the side of his neck, it all represented a part of his journey.
Eli Hardy was back, but he didn’t plan on staying for long.

This story kept me on the rooting for Eli and Ophelia to find their way. Would love to see where Phoenix story would go! Just a thought.

I read this book in one night. I didn’t want to stop reading. Abbi Glines has a talent of creating romances that are simply beautiful!

Honestly the names in this book bugged me, they had normal names like ‘ Eli, Nate’ and then threw I. Names like Crimson and Bliss and Blaze. I just feel like it threw off the flow of the book. tbh. It was a decent read, kept me wanting to find out more, some parts dragged on but I enjoyed the book for the most part
  • It could have ended better... I think.

I like these stories. Where the original series characters have their kids and their own story written. But the ending to this story was not what I expected. I knew they would end up together but I guess I didn’t like how Ophelia went after him instead of him coming to her to explain.
  • Predictable

Easy read but very boring and predictable. Sadly, not a page turner. Family tree was very scattered and difficult to follow. I had to constantly page back to see who was who, even then it was not clear.

Oh my gosh! I am so excited that I was able to finally read this book. Abbi has done it again and wrote another great book full of ups and downs. In the beginning, Eli was a happy man with so many dreams. But a lot happens in a year. And Ophelia was guarded when it came to men. Eli left and Ophelia just kinda drifted from day to day. When circumstances bring these two together the attraction is immediate. Ophelia helped put light on all the darkness that was inside Eli. And Eli helped bring joy and tear down the walls that Ophelia had. I loved how much Abbi added so many of the people from the past books of Rosemary and Sea Breeze series. I enjoyed reading them again. This is the third book in the Sea Breeze meets Rosemary Beach series. I feel that you should read all the books in order. Especially, Because of Lila. That book sets up things that occur or are mentioned in this book. My emotions were everywhere. I smiled, laughed and even shed a few tears. If you love Abbi’s books, then you must read this one too!

This was my first read by Abbi Glines and it makes me want to run out and find all of her other books. This book definitely made you feel. It made you hurt. It made you want. It made you smile. It made you love. It has all of the feels. Eli is definitely a complex character. I love how his character was written and how his story was told. He was damaged. All the good male main characters are! Ophelia is another character all of herself. I found myself liking her but then not liking her. It all depended on the scene - but I liked her for most of the book. She had good interesting qualities but fell in the trap of needing Eli. The writing was captivating. The story line flowed very well and the dialogue felt natural, for the most part. The whole thing was fluid throughout the book. I’m going to have to find more of her work! This really was a great read! I kept finding little bits of time to read when I wasn’t able to sit down and read because it was that good!
  • Sexy, Sweet & Heartbreakingly Emotional

Best I’ve Ever Had by Abbi Glines was a sweet, sexy and heartbreakingly emotional romance that captivated my heart. When I heard that Eli Hardy was FINALLY getting his happily ever after I was beyond excited because he definitely deserves one, I just was not expecting Ophelia Finlay to be his one true love! Their journey to HEA took readers on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and I think my heart broke for him even more than it had in the previous two books in the Sea Breeze Meets Rosemary Beach series because of the tragedy he experienced in the year he was away. This was almost EVERYTHING I crave from a Abbi Glines romance, except for the fact that it felt too short, but that’s probably because I loved these two so much that I never wanted their story to end. Eli and Ophelia’s chemistry was undeniably raw and passionate. This story was filled with witty banter, perfectly humorous moments, and just the right amount of steamy scenes that left me satisfied. I cannot freaking wait to find out the next couple to get a book in this series and I totally look forward to seeing glimpses of these two in future books because I could never get enough of them!

This book is just as magically as all the others!! I couldn’t decide which one I liked more, Sea Breeze or Rosemary, but then Abbi goes and combines my two favorites and I can’t get enough! I loved this book, but I’m gonna need you to stop with the abrupt endings! I wanna see them 1 year from now, please! Love your most loyal fan!
