In MAKING YOU MINE...
Knox Bentley never liked the pomp and circumstance that came with being wealthy. He'd distanced himself from his pretentious family and their fortune as a young adult and found his own path to success. But even with the world at his fingertips, he realizes something is missing, and after a long stay overseas, he finally knows exactly what it is. His no-strings-attached hookups with Aubrey Stewart, an exquisite and stubbornly independent blonde, are no longer enough for him. They connect on every level, but Aubrey is a fierce businesswoman with a new movie channel on the horizon and no time for much else. She is the deal he can't close, the precious jewel even his billions can't buy. Now that he's back in the States, he's determined to show her that what they have goes beyond the bedroom and finally make her his.

Confession time: MAKING YOU MINE is my first-ever read by author Melissa Foster. That being said, Knox's and Aubrey's story is a fun, sexy, upbeat read that focuses, as I suspect Melissa's other books do, on family, friends, and being true to one's heart, and was just a great addition to my TBR. What I enjoyed most about this book is the way that Knox and Aubrey smooth out the rough edges in each other's lives. It's not so much about change as it is helping each other to see how having each other makes all the other parts come together so nicely. Knox is able to help Aubrey realize that all work and no play leaves her a less-than-happy lady, and Aubrey's close relationship with her family helps Knox to make changes in how he sees and approaches his own. Melissa has written a lot of books, and plenty of characters from other stories are present in MAKING YOU MINE. While it's nice getting to know stories and folks from the other books, I didn't feel like I was missing out by picking up with Knox and Aubrey. I do feel, though, like I want to go back and catch up, because this book was so enjoyable to read. The wrap-up to MAKING YOU MINE is the perfect segué to upcoming books, and definitely make me want to come back for a visit. An easy 4 stars, this book is the perfect combination of sweet, sassy, sexy, and HEA, and I look forward to getting to know many more of the characters in Melissa's worlds. ❤️

I absolutely loved the collision of worlds of these two high powered business owners. They often “see” each other at various charity events but something has changed between them. Knox wants MORE! Aubrey is so focused on the continued success of her business she has no room for relationships. Knox and Aubrey come from very different backgrounds. Melissa Foster’s writing Is excellent as always and I felt I was seeing old friends again. The relationships among many of the various characters was so much fun to read. I loved this book and can’t wait for more. Definitely a must read.

Knox and Aubrey’s “hooks ups” result in combustible chemistry. Their upbringing couldn’t be more different. Melissa Foster carefully weaves a story about these two fiercely independent and successful people. Aubrey doesn’t thinks she is missing anything important in her life, her focus is on her business that she runs with her best friends and her family. Knox understands what he is missing and wants Aubrey’s heart. He accepts the challenge to win her heart, show her what she is missing, and convince her she can’t live without him too. I enjoyed learning about their families and traditions. It’s always fun to catch up with some of the other stories and see what is happening in there lives.

I REALLY enjoyed Knox and Aubrey's story! I thought the interconnection between their co-workers and friends was clever and the friendly banter was hilarious. There is no high drama, which I appreciate, and I love it when the hero falls first. I thought Aubrey was great with her family and his, and even Knox fit right in right away. Truly a great match!

I really enjoyed this book. Aubrey and Knox had been hooking up on occasion for a couple of years, so in a way they were already a couple. They just had to commit to it. It was more that Knox had to convince Aubrey of it since he already knew how he felt about her. They have some fun being snowed in at his family's inn and estate, and got to know each other's families. I thought it was a fun read, and perfect for this time of year. I liked getting a glimpse of the families, and would like to see their stories.
