Description

In the latest Argeneau novel from New York Times bestselling author Lynsay Sands, an immortal and her mortal pilot are on the run from hungry vampires...and discover they’re life mates along the way.

Jet Lassiter likes being a pilot for Argeneau Inc. Perks included travelling to exotic locations and meeting interesting people, even if they are the blood-sucking kind. He’s living the good life, until his plane goes down in the mountains and four of his passengers are gravely injured. They need blood to heal... and Jet is the only source.

Quinn Peters never wanted to be immortal. Once a renowned heart surgeon, she was turned against her will and now she has to drink blood to survive. Before she can ask how her “life” can get any worse, she’s in a plane crash. One of the few survivors, Quinn is desperate to get the mortal pilot to safety before her fellow immortals succumb to their blood lust and drain Jet dry.

But hungry vampires are the least of their worries—the crash wasn’t an accident, and someone is trying to kill Quinn. Will she and Jet find their happily ever after as life mates, or will her assassin find her first?

I don’t know how Lynsay Sands does it but ever one of her Immortal book ( and I have ever one of them and some of her others) how each book gets better and better this one was assume. GOT to read this if your are a fan of her work . This one had the loving, sex of course and action but the plot was off the rail. I read it in one night. Totally worth the money and more. I have hundreds of books many vampire ones but Lynsay Sands is an author that makes you want to buy all her books.

You would think that book 33 of this series would find itself a little stale or redundant but nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, this book proves itself to be as entertaining and original as one of the very first books in the series! Once again, we find our main characters surrounded by characters we have already come to know and love and we get to watch their relationships continue to evolve along with the main characters. A twist I definitely didn’t see coming upped the suspense that was already palpable toward the end. I could really identify with Quinn in several ways and found her struggle relatable and realistic. I can’t say too much more without giving some things away. The only things I want to give away are 3 copies of this book! Like my review and follow me wherever you see this review and send me the screenshots showing where you are following me. Each like, follow, and share is an entry for a free copy of the book. Please specify in your email if you prefer E-book or physical copy and where to send it! Entries should be emailed to ReadHeadReviews at gmail dot com. If you would like the E-book, please specify what app you will read it on so I can send you the appropriate format. Thank you to NetGalley, Lynsay Sands, Avon Books, and Harper Collins Publishers for giving me the chance to read this story and share my honest thoughts and opinions with others.

Not up to par with the other Argeneau books. But readable. There’s a little more sex than usual and the storyline is disappointing.

What a way to start a book! I've only read a handful of the books in this series, but I find I like them more and more with each one. The best thing is you can read these as standalone. To me, this one was an exciting read because it immediately starts off with a plane crash and the race through woods to get the human to safety before the injured vampires kill him. It was literally like horror movie start. I loved it! I wasn't sure how the rest of the book could hold up to that beginning excitement but it really did. I felt this was a pretty fun read and it just makes me want to go back and read all the others in the series.
