The girl who loves Christmas falls for the Grinch—it’s a Christmas miracle.
What started as a dumpster fire of a blind date turns into a deal.
In truth, it probably didn’t help that I showed up dressed like an elf but that’s a story for another time. Our start was rocky at best which is why it’s so frustrating that I can’t stop thinking about his sexy British accent. Or the way his chest and arms fill out his suit. Or his perfect hair with that single streak of grey at the front.
Santa likes lists and so do I, so here’s all the reasons why Andrew and I aren’t right for each other:
He’s my brother’s best friend
He’s the biggest grump I’ve ever met.
He hates Christmas.
That last one is big for a girl like me who thinks that the entire month of December should be a national holiday. So, when he calls for my help in planning his firm’s holiday party, I can’t pass up the opportunity to grow my small business. Bonus, we make a deal, and he agrees to attend three holiday events with me so I can make him fall in love with Christmas. As if I’d pass up an opportunity to make a Grinch’s heart grow three times its size.
It isn’t long until I discover Andrew has a very real reason to hate Christmas and I start to see him in a different light. That’s when the Christmas miracle begins.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review. This was such an awesome holiday romance I totally adored every single second of it. The authors did an amazing job with the characters, the story and the HEAT!! In this story we meet Kenzie and Drew, and they meet on a blind date through a dating app. She shows up as an elf because she was running late and he is a very uptight, hates Christmas guy. At first glance these two know they are total opposites but as they eat dinner during the worst date ever, they discover a connection that they cannot escape. This was a really fun holiday romance with two very opposite people. But these two make a holiday deal and he agrees to attend three holiday events, thats when the fun and attraction begins for these two.

Great quick stand alone holiday read. I love Kenzie’s little sense of humor and her grumpy counterpart Andrew. Loved all of the fun Christmas experiences throughout the story.

  • A dumpster fire of a meet cute turned to sparks

Andrew & Kenzie were absolutely perfect. Brother’s best friend is one of my absolute favorite tropes in existence and Piper Rayne does it so well. This one is a little grumpy/sunshine on top of it. Andrew is the British best friend of Kenzie’s brother from law school. He’s gorgeous…and did you see British. He’s jaded by love and is nothing more than a good ole Grinch. Kenzie is his complete opposite. She loves Christmas and loves the nostalgia of the season spent with her grandparents. The meet cute for these two was a total disaster. This blind date didn’t turn out wrong…it started out wrong. When Santa’s Elf and the Grinch collide, what’s a girl to do but to try to fill him with all the Christmas cheer. When Andrew’s firm needs an event planner, he recruits Kenzie for the job. As they spend more and more time together, it’s evident that the chemistry between these two is more than they can deny. An innocent friendship turns into a scorching romance. And what do you know…Christmas miracles happen every day. CJ Bloom & John Lane’s narration was on point. They made the audiobook very pleasant to listen to. Voice changes and inflections were perfect.
  • Sweet and sexy holiday treat

Brother's best friend meets grumpy /sunshine couple at Christmas...I'm here for it! Kenzie loves Christmas. So much so that she shows up at a blind date, via a dating app, in a very interesting outfit. Grumpy Brit Andrew is definitely not amused. This was not a case of insta-love by any stretch of the imagination. And once they found out how many degrees of separation were between them...thanks to her brother...the relationship was going to end that evening. Suddenly, Andrew needs a favor, so they are thrown back together. He's still grumpy, lol, and she's still sweet as a candy cane. But she's bound and determined to change his mind about the holiday season. I liked this pairing, because while he may grumble, Andrew is a really nice guy who looks out for Kenzie, who tends to not stand up for herself. The brother's best friend angle is just for show, imo, as brother Finn and Kenzie aren't close. There's no animosity, but their lack of a sibling bond is never really explained. The story is sweet, in a holiday movie channel sort of way, but much, much more smexy...which was a selling point for me! I felt the ending might have been a bit rushed, or maybe I needed a bit more drama? Either way, Single and Ready to Jungle was a great addition to my holiday bookshelf.

Listened to this one on Audible, and it was the perfect holiday read. Light, fun with a grumpy/sunshine trope. Something about the “grinch” who’s ends up with a huge heart at the end always gigs on my heartstrings. This was my first read by this author, and it certainly won’t be my last.
  • All I want for Christmas!

Single and Ready to Jingle by Piper Rayne was such an adorable holiday read! I am a sucker for a Grumpy/Sunshine but this Grinch/Buddy the Elf had me laughing, swooning and full of holiday cheer! Kenzie and Andrew end up on a blind date gone hilariously wrong leading them to build a holiday bond! John Lane and CJ Bloom were the perfect narration pair for this duet. John Lane had me feeling the Christmas hate as Andrew the Grinch while CJ Bloom nailed the perky Christmas loving elf Kenzie! I smiled so much during this book, all the crazy antics, the friendships, and of course that holiday cheer!

What happens when you cross a Christmas-loving heroine with a Grinchy Scrooge who hates everything about the holiday? You get this adorable romcom from Piper Rayne! Sweet and swoony and full of holiday cheer! Kenzie and Andrew were magical together. They definitely get off on the wrong foot, and he is such a grumpy a-hole. But soon they begin to spend more time together after they make a pact -- he needs her to plan his law firm's holiday party so he has a better chance at making partner, and she wants to get him to love Christmas again. And it's not long before Kenzie discovers that there is a very sweet side to the grumpy Brit after all. I mean, he buys every hot chocolate flavor and topping he can find because he didn't know what she liked? Swoon! Both Kenzie and Andrew have some deep-rooted insecurities that affect their relationship, and of course that leads to The Conflict. And Andrew does some grade-A groveling to make it up to Kenzie after their relationship implodes. I never would have imagined that the grump we met on their blind date was the same guy who is with Kenzie at the end of the book, but that's love for you! And some Christmas magic! Narrators John Lane and CJ Bloom were perfection in bringing this delectable holiday tale to life! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
  • Fun holiday romance

Books like this are why Piper Rayne is one of my favorite authors. Kenzie Montgomery loves Christmas and exudes Christmas spirit all year round. Andrew Wainwright is a bit of a Scrooge and doesn’t understand Kenzie’s enthusiasm for the season. This is a fun opposites attract, best friend’s little sister Romance. If you like your Hallmark Christmas movie with a lot of heat, this book is for you. I received an arc of this book from the author for my honest review.
