The suspense in the story kept me riveted all the time. My only complaint is the excessive use of foul language which added nothing to the story. I don't think the language truly represents how police men and women talk on a daily basis.

Absolutely perfect SandFord. Sudden Prey screams from page to page like a runaway train in the night. Five stars! You're gonna love this one. Geoff Charles

This was my first novel by John sandford and I was very impressed. He seems to combine the mystery writing skills of Michael Conelly with the excitement and intrigue of a Vince Flynn novel. What I liked most about his writing is how it just smoothly flowed from chapter to chapter. The author introduces us to some very interesting characters on both sides of the law and makes their every move exciting to follow. Can't wait to read the next one.
