Every noticed how the people that say global warming is a myth and call into question the science behind it are either politicians, business and finance people, or religious whackos (something two or more). Every see an actual scientist write a book on it? That would be rare indeed.

Dispels the myths propagated by many on the "global warming bandwagon" that climate change is a man-made phenomenon. The book contains some necessary scientific language & explanation, but overall, the author does a great job describing his facts in easy to understand terminology. He supports his position with data which shows that most, if not all climate change, occurs naturally and is cyclical. I must admit, I was always a global warming skeptic, and that is what prompted me to read & educate myself further on the topic. It is scary to think of all the people that are capitalizing on this, and even more frightening to know that we are all going to have to pay in one way or another for the unproven science involving the global warming hoax in the form of new & unnecessary legislation, taxes, increased costs of production, etc. It was very enlightening!

This is an excellent summary of why "human-caused" global warming (or climate change) is utter nonsense being promoted by media profiteers (of any fear-mongered topic - fear "sells"), alternate energy lobbyists, and scientists dependent upon huge government grants to study the pre-conceived conclusion, it's consequences, and how we can change our ways to reverse it. Such government expenditures are an enormous waste of scarce financial resources. The author, a physicist with a career background in infrared optics, is well-positioned to recognize and identify the many elements of this climate hoax. He does so effectively in terms any interested reader will understand. While this book was published in 2008, everything learned since then supports the "hoax" label for human-caused global warming. This is a quick read and well worth the modest cost.

This book was very helpful and resourceful when explaining the data used to form the different theories of climate change. Don't rate this book Unless you have read it. Many people will rate a book based on it's title just because it covers a controversial subject. Read the book, and research it's sources of information.

Another righty pushing a political agenda that uses junk science to dismiss proven data.
