I have been a fan of Jeff Clow's photography for some time now and had no idea that he wrote a book. While i was visiting Grand Teton National Park, I was taking pictures early in the morning at the Moulton Barn and struck a conversation with the man next to me. As we were talking I introduced myself and to my surprise I was actually talking to Jeff Clow himself. Wow!! I was just admiring his pictures the night before and was now talking to him in person. I asked him about other locations in the park to shoot photography and he suggested that I get a copy of his book. I am so glad that I did and it has been a great resource for my visit to the park. The book will save you a lot of time guessing or researching the different locations to shoot photography in the park. A must read for anyone planning a trip to Grand Teton National Park. Two thumbs up!! (or in this case 5 stars from me}.

I have been a fan of Jeff Clow's photography for some time now and I had no idea that he wrote a book. I actually was visitng the Park and was at the Moulton Barn shooting some pictures and was talking to this man next to me and it just happened to be Jeff Clow. Wow!! The night before had been admiring some of his photography online and now I was actually talking to him in person. As we talked further, I asked him about other locations in the Park that would be good spots to photograph. He at that time told me that he wrote a book about the different photographic locations in the park and that I should check it out. I am so glad that I purchased the book and Jeff has written a very detailed and well written book about the many locations to shoot photography while in the park. Two thumbs up!! (or in this case, 5 stars from me).

I was Jeff Clow's first lucky customer to purchase his book, right before taking my first photo trip to Grand Teton National Park, and found his guide to be priceless. Fun, easy read, great photos and tips on equipment, time of day and locations all made it easy for me to get around the park and gave me an idea of what to expect. Jeff reveals a lot of the secrets that most photographers wouldn't tell to their closest friends, all for under $10. As a bonus, I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff for the first time while he was in the park and we were able to spend a morning photographing grizzly bears, wolves, elk and some special places, making it one of the most memorable times of my three week stay in Grand Teton National Park. A terrific photographer and writer, Jeff Clow quickly earned my respect and friendship.

I love to photograph the landscape of the great American west. But I have to tell you that anything that makes my job easier is great. Jeff Clow's book falls into this category. If I were headed to the Tetons with photography in mind I wouldn't consider not taking "Photo Guide to Grand Teton Park". It is nicely written, well organized, and tells you what you need to know about where to go to get the stunning photos you've seen of the Tetons, as well as when to go to specific areas. You'll even learn something about photography along the way. Highly recommended!

Jeff delivers an unbelievably complete guide to capturing the sheer essence of one of the most majestic locations in the country. His writing is clearly stated and easily understood and makes for a most enjoyable read. My first time through, and only a third of the way into the ebook, I found myself getting excited - "Lets go now!!" He provides so much detail and advice that I felt he was being generous - far more information than required for a respectable photog guide. If you're going to the Tetons, you need this book - even if you don't bring a camera.
