Description

Yoga sutras by Patanjali is a seminal work in yoga, this book is more about control of mind and the true goal of yoga. The sutras are extremely brief, and the translation in neat English makes it very easy for people to understand the ancient Sanskrit text. It starts with the birth and growth of spiritual man through the control of mind. In all, this is a "all in one" book for yoga philosophy written by the master himself. (Summary by sidhu177)

Very fluent and deep. Easy to understand and, although general and overarching at times, still very applicable for people waking the spiritual path.
  • Truly extraordinary

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the actual sutras - they are a glimpse into the past yet remain relevant today. The interpretation given alongside the actual sutras was a little long, for my taste.

Better than 4 chapters of freedom. A confusing topic explained pretty well

Even if even one of his sutras.... The threads... can be followed. Life would never be the same. An eye opener but not for ppl stuck in their intellect. Needs Both... The head n the heart... Then only u can digest it !!
