    A friend of mine recommended this book for me after I had a major altercation with my parents and sibling. Reading this book helped me do a lot of introspection and analysis of the moments and situations that have led to such a blow up. Many run deep since childhood and progressed. Among many gems, this books explication of shaming and how parents, bosses, can sometimes (in)intentionally create cultures of shame, perfection, and discrimination is so necessary to know. I really feel like my life has been changed and this book is a must read for anyone who wants to grow and develop into a more self-aware, confident, vulnerable superhuman.
