Description

Juan Cabrillo and the crew of the Oregon must battle an army of genetically engineered mercenaries to stop a hypersonic missile attack in this explosive new adventure in the #1 New York Times bestselling series.

When Cabrillo is hired to extract an undercover operative in Kenya, he finds himself on the trail of a deadly international plot. A Saudi prince seeks to unleash a deadly assault on U.S. forces, sparking a new war in the Middle East and ultimately destroying Israel.
Cabrillo’s crew have met their most fearsome adversaries yet: a force of bio-hacked soldiers endowed with extreme strength and stamina and an unquenchable appetite for violence. The Oregon team must journey from the Amazon rainforest to an abandoned monastery in Eritrea before a final showdown in the mountains of Yemen, using every shred of courage and cunning they can muster to disable the ship-killer missile before the Arabian Sea becomes a mass grave.

I have read every Cussler book written by him and those ably following in his footsteps. This books lacks nothing and kudos to the story and the writing. Thank you for a job well done and it was a page turner!
  • Great grasp of the characters

Same thrilling, page-turning style as Cussler with his own style woven throughout. Thanks for the adventure. I am headed for your next read.

The plot flowed, just like all the Clive Cussler books did. Whoever has taken up Clive’s standard of excellence I hope it will be maintained.
  • Better than the last book but not like the others

Definitely not like the original Oregon file books, less descriptive & relies on the viewer to paint their own picture, but still a great story line. It is weird how some scenarios/processes get glossed over, while others seem to get drawn out to add to the length of the book. Hopeful that this series doesn’t end.
  • Absolutely love these books!

Getting into one scrape after another, but always remembering there are their jobs and there are others who do other jobs! They take on only what they are called to do! The patriotism and humanity are their best qualities, in these characters and these stories!!

I like that there’s another organ files book, but what I didn’t like is that it should’ve been co authored with Dirk cussler in that I hope that is not the end of the series
