    This story was told half way wanting to sell me the second half. It was a extremely good read until it ended with real ending. This author she finish the story rather than leave you hanging. Had she done that it would have earned five stars instead of two.

    I listened to the audiobook, which was so well done (I mean, Callie Dalton and Joe Arden? Of course!). As with all prequel novellas, in my opinion, this felt like it was not complete, but since I was able to read both books at once, I loved the progression from this prequel to the actual HEA. In this book, we meet both Lee and Shayna and find out why they are enemies to start in their initial book. It is good to read this book because otherwise, the reader may be a little confused about why they are enemies until more into the next book- it wasn't something that was recounted in the beginning. But this is a great prequel that sets the stage to a fantastic start to a fun sports romance series.

    The prequel novella to Shayna and Lee’s story starts us off at U of M where he’s the star QB with heart and she gets coaxed to be his tutor. Sparks ignite and we see the beginning of their story. Short and not so innocent story, I feel like it is a great start to a new football series, “Kingsman Football Stars”, by Piper Rayne. The full length book, “ You Had Your Chance, Lee Burrows” is for those who like second chance, enemies to lovers, forced proximity. Also, voiced by Joe Arden and Callie Dalton, it’s a delight to listen to!

    False Start by Piper Rayne is the prequel to the Kingsman Football Stars Series. This introduction to Lee Burrows packs quite the punch. Lee is the star quarter back, and Shayna is the lucky girl that had to tutor him so he can continue to play the Game. The story is sweet, sassy, with some some drama due to immature college boys. But, it’s set up perfectly for You Had Your Chance Lee Borrows. Can’t wait to read and listen to the next book. The narrators Callie Dalton and Joe Arden did a good job with the story, characters and kept me engaged.
