    My church commits to a 21 day fast at the beginning of each year to sanctify our hearts, and to seek guidance for the year. I read this book in conjunction with this period of fasting. Franklin is a profound pastor and author, and I have grown from reading this book. It gave me a deep understanding of WHY there is a need for fasting in conjunction with prayer and generosity. I’ll be committing to fasting regularly in my life now. I would highly recommend this book to others interested in fasting and have little to no experience in it.

    2nd review- I cannot recommend this book enough. This is the second time reading this book. I have completed my four fast b/c of this book. I have now seen breakthrough in a house we have tried selling for over a year! 1st review- I would highly recommend this book. This helped me with a breakthrough I needed in my marketing company.
