Description

Their story didn't start with a fairytale romance...
Romance is the last thing on Ian's mind. He's juggling the family farm and a second job, his kids are a crazy handful and every time he gets close to his wife, she snaps at him. Their relationship started with a sizzling physical connection, and he needs to find a way to leverage that into reconnecting on a deeper level.

Their marriage wasn't chosen for love...
Carrie knows she's being too hard on her husband, but eight years ago she had a one-night stand that turned into a lifetime of diapers and dinners. She can't shake the feeling that she wants more, or the fear that her husband won't understand.

But they still chose each other...time and again

A great hot read. A second chance romance of sorts, the story of how a couple works out the change from unhappily married to HEA.

Between Then and Now was my introduction to new-to-me author Zoe York. After finishing this emotional novella, I was scrolling through my Kindle to see if I had any other books by York. I really enjoyed her storytelling and the way she developed her characters in this short novella. Between The and Now features Ian and Carrie who have been married for about eight years and have two children. The stresses of life are starting to cause doubts in their marriage. This book was a show of realistic life between a married couple who struggles with trying to find time to make time for each other and keep their love strong. York does a wonderful job packing a lot into such a short story. There is enough conflict to keep it interesting, and enough emotion to have you supporting the characters you just met. I love married romance stories because we don’t get to see that often. Between Then and Now is an enjoyable, sweet yet sexy contemporary romance that has me searching out the other books in the Wardham Series. I recommend this book and am truly looking forward to future books by Zoe York.
