The Bar Council, which represents barristers in England and Wales, published Changes to Civil Legal Aid: Practical Guidance for the Bar to coincide with the implementation of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 and the fundamental changes to the operation of civil legal aid it introduced. This eBook edition of the guidance has been released to help maximise its accessibility and usefulness. The guidance will be regularly updated to reflect ongoing developments in civil legal aid.
