This report surveys lawyers’ experiences with and perceptions of self-represented litigants, the effectiveness of parenting education workshops and alternatives to traditional forms of legal representation in family law matters. This report is the precursor to our 2014 report on the views of judges of the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench on self-represented litigants.
