When I was a kid I always knew Christmas was coming when my dad brought out the Christmas Count-down Case. It had 25 compartments with doors, each holding a different ornament. We would open one door each night of December while we read the serialized Christmas story from the local newspaper. “Micah’s Gift” was originally published a chapter a day at Wattpad.com.
