Description

Eighteen-year-old Haru Ono has been in love with Aiden Davis since he was in middle school. Trying to keep his feelings under wraps is annoyingly hard when they’re living under the same roof, more so since Aiden is so caring and selflessly showers him with kindness.

Haru knows family is important to Aiden, who has been shouldering the burden of raising five younger siblings, and it’s best Haru never reveals his feelings to Aiden. Then again, an eighteen-year-old boy with raging hormones can only bottle up so much until everything starts to burst.

Haru’s story is a gay harem romance (yaoi, boys love). The uke (Haru) will gain his hunky alpha men (semes) one at a time as his story progresses.

Note: Seme is the man who does the chasing (the top) and uke is the male being chased (the bottom) in the romantic relationship.

The book starts by sinking it’s hook and kept me attached for the amazing ride. I throughly enjoyed the details put into each character, helping add to the descriptive chapters. I have read this book twice and I am planning to purchase the others in the series.

Nice pace. Good steam. Some realistic emotions, but never seems bogged down. Can hardly wait to read the second book in the series.

I have to admit that I read for pleasure... I look for a hook, and this book had my attention with the unusual situation of a blended family that had been forced to fend for themselves because of the loss of the parents... I really like the picture painted of the family functioning as a unit, with Aiden accepted as the head of household. As Haru’s secret came out, I sense a danger, even though hints were given... Before I wrote this review, I ordered the next novel in the series, because I firmly on the hook and must continue the journey through the next novel... Japan, here we come!!
