Description

Visit Nantucket's Beach Plum Cove Inn this Christmas for a feel-good holiday story from the author of the USA Today bestsellers, The Nantucket Inn and Nantucket Neighbors.

Born on Christmas, Angela Stark has always hated the holiday. Bad things always seem to happen and this year is no exception when she is fired and evicted on the first day of December.

She was living and working as a maid in San Francisco. Who will hire her at this time of year, especially if they learn why she was fired?

Her only family is Sam, an elderly, and quite vocal orange cat. Her only option is to stay temporarily with her best friend Jane, but she is extremely allergic to cats. It’s not ideal, but it doesn’t look like she has a choice, until a certified letter arrives that changes everything.

The next thing she knows, she and Sam are flying to Nantucket, a place they’ve never been before.

It’s meant to be a temporary visit. But then Angela meets the Hodges family and friends and begins to question where home really is.

Sometimes hard times can bring about blessings from the sky along with romantic love. I was glued to this book from start to finish. The author has a way of captivating you with a great romance novel. The setting was spectacular and the characters used added so much sensation to the book. Must rest.

It was odd how Kristen’s boyfriend name changed from Tyler to David Wentworth. In the previous book Wentworth was the person Chase turned down for contract

The book was fine. However I remember from the previous book that Kristens boyfriends name was Tyler. In this book it was David? Confusing. There were other less annoying errors but whoever proofread it did a poor job.
  • Easy read

This book was light and refreshing, such an easy read. I would of gave it five stars but the author switched the name of Kristen’s boyfriend so I was a little confused in the beginning.

After reading so many psychological thrillers and dealing with the state of this country, it was so good and refreshing to just cuddle up with this happy and fun book. I ordered the next in the series and decided it’s my therapy for now.

Cute series. But book is filled with typos and inconsistencies. Character names change without reason from one book to the next. Book one tells us Abby is having a boy. Then in book two she doesn’t know the sex of the baby and she ends up with a girl. Tyler becomes David and then by book 3 is back to Tyler. I feel like the author can’t remember what she wrote from one book to the next and can’t figure out why an editor didn’t catch these mistakes
  • Fun read but so many mistakes

I’ve enjoyed reading this series. It’s a fun, quick read. However, the author has several inconsistencies. In Nantucket Inn,the story end with her daughter learning that she is going to ha a baby boy. Yet at the start of Nantucket Neighbors she has a baby girl. In the same book, one daughter dates a guy named Tyler. And her son has a conflict with developer named David Wentworth. Then in Nantucket White Christmas, the author renames Tyler as David Wentworth but keeps all of Tyler’s character development including him being a writer. If you can overlook these things, you will enjoy the series. The author needed someone to edit her books before self-publishing.
