When Claire Peyton, the new American ambassador, pitches a project of her own, Eduardo wonders if it’s possible to find love a second time. But as Claire and Eduardo face the political and personal repercussions of time spent together, each of them must choose between their duty to country and their love for each other.

I so glad King Eduardo got his own story, and he definitely got a good one. Over the series, we’ve known about the great love he had with his wife and how he tragically lost her to cancer. But he has a lot of life left to live, and so many parts of it were for others. His job alone, as King, is for the people. He has found joy in his children and grandchildren, of course, but something and someone just for him has been gone for a long time. Enter Claire. A successful and ambitious woman that needs Eduardo to accomplish her professional goals, but there’s also a personal interest. How can they balance the two? Claire has promises she’s made and Eduardo does too. Unfortunately, those promises are in conflict. But they’re willing to make a gamble on each other and trust and adapt to not only reach their professional goals, but their personal ones as well.
