Description

This is a novella and a complete story at 23,000 words. If you like television sitcoms, you'll feel right at home.

Who are the Broads Abroad? They're wits, nits, and innocents abroad, four friends and two sisters in their twenties who've landed in Paris on their backsides, without a cent to their names or much sense to their credit. But don't worry; they always pick themselves up in time to deliver more sitcom antics and witty asides.

The first novella in the series stars Fern Dodelbach. The "nittiest" wit of all, Fern must call on her intervention skills to persuade her guy-crazy roommate Kimi to lay off bad men. But what is really going on behind closed doors? Is Kimi using her room to turn tricks?

Love, hunger, and financial meltdown await Fern and her zany friends in the City of Light. Will Fern's loyalty and romantic dreams survive the riot girls, a much-sought-after chamber pot, and the incident of the flying falsie?

I read this novella in a hospital waiting room during a long weekend, and I just wanted to thank the author for the much-needed laughs. A very funny and surprisingly heartfelt story, and waaaay over the top. :-) I love broad sitcom style humor, and these broads abroad delivered.
