Beauty and the Alien Beast: Teken

Teken is the Alpha of his clan of Wulfaen Gladiators. There are five clans that form the Gladiator Council and supposedly the majority rules in making decisions. But there is much disagreement on the council because they have no females and they are losing young males to mating fever, making them be put down because they go feral and violent. The Omar have approached them tryi8ng to sell them human females who are supposedly compatible with the Gladiators. Teken is admittedly against slavery and refuses to support the Omar slavers. He agrees to go under cover as a rich merchant to try and find out how the women are being treated. If he can prove they are being mistreated, they will declare war on the Omar and free all of the female slaves. Ella is kidnapped from earth and refuses to cooperate with the Omar who are trying to teach the women how to be hostesses. Not the word Ella would use to describe what they are trying to teach her. She has been tortured since the day they were handed over to the Omar because she refuses to comply. When she sees Teken, she is immediately attracted to him which totally confuses her. When Teken sees Ella he knows she is his mate and his mission immediately changes. Now he must figure out how to get her out of there and back to his clan. I love how the relationship develops between Teken and Ella, even though she can’t talk to him until she gets a communicator. I especially love Brax, Teken’s dog. What a sweetheart! I want one of those!! This is a fast paced book full of action and adventure. Ella learns to love Teken by his actions and how he treats her, because there are no words for his to use. I am hoping there will be more Wulfaen Gladiator books to follow!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I enjoyed this story! I liked the characters and loved that Ella was so strong. She refused to give in and just give up, even with everything she was facing and refused to be broken. Teken loved that strength about her. This was interesting with their trouble communicating and I loved that they still found ways to get some communication across even though it wasn’t everything, it was what needed at the time. This story was well written and I would really like to see where this series could go and how more couples come together and find true mates. This story pulled me in from beginning to end and had plenty of action and intrigue along with the romance and relationship.

Ella has been kidnapped, by aliens. About to be sold she is saved by Teken, he is Alpha of his Wulfean Gladiator clan. Escaping is not easy, learning Ella is his true mate makes it even more important. Loved this book, it kept me glued. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

I found the book well written, fun and sweet with out weird spelling errors or typos. The story was a fun read that made me LOL several times. Loved both main characters, the hero was fierce, sweet and sexy. His female counterpart was brave in the face of what happened to her. She made me laugh several times with her down to earth bluntness and very real language. And the dog melted my heart and made me laugh. There was a relationship there and just enough sex that I didn’t start skim reading because it started repeating like some books do. All in all, I’m glad I read it. And I enjoyed it.

This is a fast paced paranormal read that hits all the high notes. Ella is the beautiful woman kidnapped by aliens and is being sold as a sex slave Terek is a Waulfen Gladiator that is a shapeshifter and abhors slavery of any kind. He’s on a scouting mission when he sees Ella and rescues her. But her rescue is fraught with danger, always on the run, hiding from the ones trying to capture them. This is a fast paced steamy read that is an exciting well written story and I loved it.
