    Rocco is a cop who stumbles across Guinevere being attacked. Rocco feels something for her from that first meeting and doesn’t understand why he can’t let go of her case. Guinevere is living in fear of her family and any and all involvement with Rocco makes it worse. Can Rocco uncover the truth and set her free or will he be her downfall?

    Rocco falls for Guinevere instantly when he saves her from an attacked. Guinevere's home life is tragic but when Rocco steps in to help her, she falls him. Their journey is incredible but they have few bumps along the way. And their ending is perfect for them.

    Once again, E.M. Shue pulls me into her world and wouldn’t let me go. This story is amazing and the characters are so realistic and relatable. The female protagonist is a strong, beautiful character who has to overcome a lot of adversity in her life to reach her goals. The male protagonist is a strong character who is overcoming his past actions as well as the reputation of his family. Together they work to achieve her dreams and his desires. I love E.M. Shue’s work and this story that ties more characters into her Security’s International series.

    I received this book in advance for a voluntary honest review. After making a mistake, Rocco was demoted to patrol where he and his new partner Damien become involved in a mugging of a young girl that instantly catches Rocco’s eye. Guinevere is out and about on her one day of freedom when she is attacked and then saved by Rocko and his partner. Instantly Rocco knows he’s never going to let Guinevere go and that she’s going to be his. Rocco embarks on a personal mission to rescue Guinevere from her horrible family and treat her like the queen she is. Together they find love and a passion that matches no other. Deceitful family, honorable friends, and a hero that wants nothing more than to rescue his woman. Excellent read!

    The things Guinevere endured was gut wrenching and will definitely pull at your heartstrings. The loss, lies, danger, abuse and manipulation was really bad but Guinevere survives. The love Rocco and Guinevere share was so well written. This book was extraordinary and I loved that Linc, Noah and their families were included in this book.

    Wow… EM has done it again. I absolutely loved this book!! Rocco is trying to atone for believing Tracy over Linc. He sees Guinnieve and he’s all in. He has to have her and help her. This book had it all. My only complaint was I wanted more. Lol. Now, who’s book is next?
