Description

An intensely emotional and gripping companion novel to Laura Nowlin’s USA Today and New York Times Bestselling novel If He Had Been With Me about the love that both breaks and heals us. Perfect for fans of Colleen Hoover and Jenny Han.

If only I’d told her that I loved her years ago, then I wouldn’t be here now.

Finn has always loved Autumn. She’s not just the girl next door or his mother’s best friend’s daughter, she is his everything. But she’s not his girlfriend. That’s Sylvie, and Finn would never hurt her, so there’s no way Autumn could know how he truly feels.

Jack, Finn’s best friend, isn’t so sure. He’s seen Finn and Autumn together. How could she not know? And how is he supposed to support and protect Finn when heartache seems inevitable?

Autumn surrounds herself with books and wants to write her own destiny—but one doesn’t always get a new chapter and fate can be cruel to those in love.

Told through three different perspectives, If Only I Had Told Her is a love story brimming with truth, tragedy, and the unexpected bonds that heal us.

I absolutely loved the first book it was my top 5. But this one, it broke me, I cannot physically bring myself to finish it. I had to stop after Jack chapter 12. Now i’m not saying that it wasn’t beautifully written because cause it is i love the chemistry between Finny and Autumn with a my being. But it hurts to read. I hope one day i will be able to read this in its entirety.

It was a great book. I loved seeing Autumn and Jack’s perspective and their healing Journey with losing Finn but this book disappointed me in the way it ended. I was hoping for more!😓 felt like it was missing something!

Okay. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the first book. Couldn't put it down type love. I was so eager, and ready for Finn's part of the story. Now that I've read it, I feel like my expectations were not met. Yes you hear his end of it, and yes you get other people's perspectives, but... it was so short lived. I went into this book thinking I was going to get a full story like the first, and I didn't... I am a little upset with the way this book was put together; but on the other hand I understand the author had no intentions of actually writing a second part. Could it be better? Absolutely. Is it terrible though? No.
  • Great ending to a heartbreaking story

I had read the first book last year and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that a sequel was already in the makes. I was a little skeptical that it wasn’t a continuation, but the same story from another perspective. I already knew what happened. How could this book be any different? Just like a coin has two sides Finn and Autumn’s story has two sides we need to hear and understand in order to be completed. Great read. Definitely recommend.

Felt as though the first book was a slow plot, but part 2 was fast paced and full of raw emotions from Finny, Autumn, and Jack. I loved it! Worth the wait.
