It’s a warm and fuzzy read. I love books like these where it’s not gory and you get a happy ending. I am also glad the book did not end with the wedding. The beginning could have been changed to make the story flow better. Instead of introducing the characters as they get to know each other, the writer could have changed it by starting the story at another point. Like around the dinner scene when Carlotta serves food along with the family and references the kidnapping in front of Cat. That wold be a much better starting point since all of the characters have very good chemistry to begin with.

Ok, I started this and sort of thought this book wasn’t going to work for me, but, as I listened, I realized it’s a bit of a charmer! The narration is pretty good and the story, overall, is a good one. Charlie is our h and is down on her luck, she is waiting at a bus stop when she is kidnapped, yes, kidnapped by 7 guys-this is why I was doubting if this book would work for me, however, all is not as it seems, and Rafe, the Alpha is immediately attracted to Charlie but is not super alpha, if that makes sense. He’s willing to let Charlie go back to her life, and does not presume that he can hold her there even after they cement their bond. Honestly, this was a very nice, quick listen…I really enjoyed it and I’ll definitely read/listen to others in this series-love the pack family! (I did receive a promotional copy-thank you to the author)

The author has potential to be great, but this was too rushed with too many plot holes.

What better way to start a series then with a kidnapping. The author did a great job of teaching us about the pack while slowly building up the love between these two characters. It was such a romantic story that has set us up perfectly for the next book in the series. I can’t wait to read it.
