    I purchased this for my wife after we found out our first child will be a boy. She felt she understood little girls more so than boys, so this helped put her mind at ease. The simple fact is boys and girls are different. You can't raise them the same. This book does a good job of explaining that.

But if you are new to the world of boys and have absolutely no idea where to start, this is a good place. I read it more for confirmation in the direction we've been heading as parents.

    Excellent read, a must read to help raise healthy well balanced boys. I often feel that our boys have over time been neglected. It was important to raise the profile of girls and women in society and give them a voice, it should continue, but I suppose it’s also time to relook at boys too.
