This is so helpful. It forces me to really dig deep and put things into words, into an order which let's me be more mindful and gives me more resources to pull from in the stressful moments. I feel that my daughter's behavior has improved from the change in my approach and she is able to calm herself faster and easier, which relieves my stress and improves our relationship overall. I paired this of imperfect parenting class, but that is no longer available for purchase.
  • I am learning from it.

I'm still reading this book, but so far I've really enjoyed it. It's great for parents/care givers who want to meet children where they are emotionally devoloped to. You are still parenting but it also allows the children to be people too.
