The principal defense to the action was that of adverse possession. Both at the conclusion of plaintiffs case and at the conclusion of the trial, defendant moved for a directed verdict but the trial court denied the same. The jury found for the plaintiff. Defendants motions for judgment n.o.v. and in the alternative a new trial were denied.
