    Samantha Williams is in a panic. Her father is critically ill so she needs to get home immediately. Unfortunately she's caught in a ice storm. When her car crashes, she is rescued by a stranger who risks his life to save her. They are alone and stranded. What happens next took my breath away. The Light at the End of the Road is a riveting paranormal love story. Sam and Jake are amazing characters. They are fated to be together. The dark, isolated mountains provide the perfect background. When they unexpectedly discovered Becky's diner, I shivered with anticipation. Ginny Baird has outdone herself. The way the pieces of this story fit together was amazing. I couldn't put this book down. I read it in one sitting. I had to know what would happen next. This carefully plotted story was filled with suspenseful tension and unexpected twists. This book is a keeper.

    A sweet romance with mystery and a hint of paranormal element. The story of Samantha and Jake, both very caring, strong willed characters. They both will do anything to help another person. They are both trying to get to the hospital for Sam's critically ill father. Many twists and turns in the story as they are following the light and the fog. This book will hook you in immediately and not let go until you finish. This will be on my reread list. I am not a big fan of paranormal but this is very mild and not defer from the story, a great addition. I highly recommend this story.

Her father is about to have surgery. She wants to arrive before his surgery. Then she loses control as she skids into a ditch!!! Jake Marlow is on a business trip. To avoid being held up on the main highway due to an accident, he takes a back road then gets two flat tires. Setting out to seek shelter, Jake comes upon Samantha’s car. Will Jake be able to save her? Will he be able to get to his business appointment? Will Samantha live to see her father again? Then there is a light. From where did the mysterious light appear? Vivid, well developed characters involved in a puzzling, twist turning plot. The author weaves together intrigue, mystery and romance from the past and present effortlessly. The story deals with, loss, grieving, chance and love. Make sure you read this novella to appreciate all that is involved. A good quick read beside being a compulsive page turner. Thank you to the author for this eBook. My opinion is my own.

    What a heartwarming read of clean romance and a bit of paranormal. It deals with the concepts of love, loss and mortality. Each of the main characters were very likable and real. I have read other books by Ginny Baird, but this one is different. I normally don't like paranormal, but it isn't overdone as it truly makes the story with all the twists come alive for you. In fact you don't realize it has the touch of the paranormal until almost at the end. Another great novella from Ginny Baird, and definitely worth the read. I received a free ARC in exchange for an honest review
