When Brad backs out due to problems with his real girlfriend Susan, Jill fears she’ll be left standing alone at the altar. Then Brad offers a solution: Jill can marry the one man on earth she despises...his handsome best friend.

When his best friend, Brad, approaches him with an unusual contract, he’s determined to run for the hills, especially since the name on the paperwork is international celebrity Jillian Jamison, the woman who spurned him in high school. Hunter would rather do anything than spend twelve months of his life saddled with her. But he has a soft spot for Brad, who’s in a predicament, so Hunter agrees to consider Brad’s proposal. Jill is a single woman who has the sole responsibility of taking care of her elderly grandfather's finances. Jill, by no means, minds but just isn't at place at the time to continue. Her publisher asks Jill to pen a third book and getting it published would secure Jill's ability to continue to pay for her Grandfather's finances. She has already written a bestseller but her second book did not succeed. She felt forced to wed so she came up with a wedding contract. Her childhood friend, Brad, was to sign the contract. The contract consisted of them getting married and it lasting for a year. As the "wedding" was approaching, Brad backed out and asked his friend, Hunter, to step in. Hunter and Jill do not have such good history and she is not pleased. Hunter is also in a bind. He is trying to secure a deal at work in order to get a promotion. Hunter finds out one day that he is being bypassed for the promotion to someone who is married. The contract Jill prepared would also benefit Hunter, therefore, he agrees. They hurriedly marry and Hunter even takes her on a honeymoon to Niagra Falls. What neither realize is that are falling for each other. Another thing they do not realize is that someone is watching them as they feel that the "marriage" is a little sketchy and want to out them. Do they get caught? Does their "marriage" survive? Are Jill and Hunter destined to be husband and wife? What about their careers? Ginny Baird's, My Best Friends Bride, is sweet, a little mysterious, and has plenty of romance. Ginny knocked this out of the ballpark. It keeps you wanting more and rooting for Jill and Hunter. This is definitely a must read book.

Do best friends share everything….Even a Bride?? Wait, it is not as it sounds. Jillian and Brad are friends since childhood. Both are single but Brad is going to marry Susan. Jill needs a husband for a year to write and promote her books successfully. Her aging grandfather’s care depends on her book sales. Brad makes an excellent choice for a fake one year marriage. Susan decides Brad should not go through with this fake marriage so Brad asks his best friend, Hunter to marry Jill. Hunter gets passed over for a promotion. Even though Hunter’s ideas and work habits are excellent…he is “ Single”. Solution… marry Jillian for a year. Can they pull this fake marriage off with a company investigator following Hunter and a gossip columnist watching Jillian’s every move? The characters were very realistic. Each one brought their own flavor to the story. The shenanigans and dynamics between some of the characters added humor within this story. There are multiple romances and beautiful friendships that develop throughout Jillian and Hunter’s predicament. Great quick read. Thank you to the author for this eBook. My opinion is my own.
